The Starting Point

Im going to start it here. Our first seven months and all that we have done so far. We moved into our own place, visited the "peaks" of New York and then we traveled to the high peaks of the Rocky Mountains. We have been to numerous restaurants and tasted numerous beers and wines. A passion that Arnold has that he has shared with me for food, drinks, and hospitality. Exploring and experiencing is our speciality and I am happy to share it with all of you. Being so far away, this makes it easy for you to know what is going on in our life and be able to share it with you.

This is Ronald, Arnold, and I at Windam Mountain. I believe this was our second time going up, or third. I was quite cold on this March morning. 

Okay, this is a video of the three of us riding down one of the hills.  Arnold is holding the camera and the people you see are Ronald and I. You must watch until the end of the video. We are all doing very well, I am learning how to carve, which is to go from riding on your heels, to transferring your weight to your toes. (Much much harder then it sounds) So he gets me on video making that transfer, but not quite landing it. Watch!! Its very funny.

Our Apartment

I am going to backtrack a few months to update you. :) So stay with me... This was our first night in our new place. We didn't have a chair to sit on or a table to eat at... so we improvised. 

Our first purchase was the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on, but it was cute and went very nicely. The coffee table we made... :)
